currently using Canon 600d 18-55mm kit lens

I think Canon is user friendly. Madaling gamitin. Although kasi I have a hiram na digicam so mas sanay ako. Pero ang Nikon I think maganda ang kuha ng shots. Very crisp and malinaw. Although I am not familiar with it.
Is lomography a good option for starters like me? I'm planning to buy my own camera come September. Any thoughts? Thank you docs! ^__^

wow nice gears but is it "the indian more than the pana"??? i mean you can have the most sophisticated gear with all the bells and whistles and yet have not developed the "eye" in photography will it amount to anything??? just thinking...
Your point of view is the main reason I think why major camera manufacturers have at least 4 levels of photoboxes targeting the same level of audiences. Point and Shoots (where the compacts belong generally, nikon coolpix, canon powershots), Amateur Enthusiast (Canon xx0D, Canon xxD), Advance level (Canon xxD), Profesional level (Canon xD, and 1D series), Sorry can't answer for the level of the NIkon series nor the SLT Sony series.
Nobody was born with a camera in his hand, you have to learn it either thru formal class or thru experience. And I don't think majority of wannabe photogs will buy a $6700 gear-only without knowing how to use it first, otherwise you'll just be giving yourself a pain in the neck literally.
So "is it the indian more than the pana" ? I think the answer is: the same, both a and b....
I somehow felt it's a bit OT so back to topic...what's your gear? Yashica 25-105mm (film), Canon powershot A460

Let me answer your question by way of a question also (sabi nila don't answer my question with another question, hehehe)
If one's interested to try photography (no training or experience), what gear would you recommend?
1. How much are you willing to spend?
2. How much interest do you have?
3. How "Lazy" are you gonna be in taking pictures?
4. How much weight are you willing to endure?
Personally I felt these 4 querries needed a definite and interlocking answers before any recommendation are about to be made...kindly read the other threads in this photography forum for you to get a glimpse of the probable answers specially to the first question. Hope that Helps
