Maraming salamat sa mga suggestions niyo sa pag-post. I am a newbie with regards to posting and I still can't get the hang of quoting...Saan ba instructions? sa Help?

You can use BB codes Like this: [qu*te=cruzin, mar 15, 2005, 03:22 pm] The quoted text[/Qu*te] I have to replace the "o" in quote so you can see it as BB code otherwise it will be displayed as a quote OR you can simply press the quote button at the right upper most corner of the post you will quote and type away ;)

Was the message inside your web browser or was it a windows dialog? I have not encountered such error but it would be good to look into it.

Also, did you use the 'Quick Login' box? If you did, then the 'Remember Me' option is not enabled. That means that the cookie session set by the browser is due to expire in 1 hour if there is no browsing activity. Filling up a form (for the PM) is not considered a browsing activity by the browser.

The 1 hour cookie expiration is a security measure for users especially for shared computers so that even if they were not able to log out, the session will expire and log them out after 1 hour.

hi mike ! thank you for replying . yes i always use the quick log in box because it is much faster to sign in than the one at the top. usually i sign in twice everytime i use the latter, that i dont know why again <_< anyway, now i know why ....kasi nga after i loggged in, the PM alert popped out so i opened my inbox, read and replied and it took me an hour to finish my message tapos yun na nga nangyari.

oh well ..... thanks a lot :)

Nangyayari din sa akin yan. Kaya ang ginagawa ko, kung medyo mahaba ang gusto kong sabihin, type muna ako sa WORD, then copy and paste sa message board. :D

Hi angel, sorry for the late reply medyo toxic kc ako these days.
Mike has answered it completely.
I find MS word too slow to load and consumes a lot of memory kaya note pad lang ako.
Hope this helps.

There's no way to resize pics using the forum. HTML can do that for you using the img HTML tags but the size of the pic (in terms of KB) still remains, papaliitin lang yung dimensions.

Kung gusto mo, email mo na lang sa akin. I have a good PC setup that allows me to do that almost automatically. Tapos send ko lang balik sa iyo. That's what I do with the MIND pics that Willie sends me before I upload all of them.

Ang bilis talaga ni sir mike. :D
There are imaging softwares that you can use to resize the pics. You can use adobe photoshop or acd see. Now, if you have the microsoft office 2003 edition installed in your pc, you can use the microsoft office picture manager program located in the microsoft office tools folder. Press the edit button and resize the pic with the ff options:
a. predefined width x height
b. custom width x height
c. percentage of original width x height

..... or just send the photos to mike or to yours truly and we'll do the job for you ;)

Dear Mods,

Been trying to make a signature, but when it appeared, it included all the codes so had to delete everything.

Also tried to import an avatar from my PC clips. Each time I get a "not allowed" notice even if it's within the prescribed size.

Would appreciate guidance from the techies. Tenkyu.

A trainable old dog (I hope),

HTML codes are not allowed in signatures. However, BB codes are. So instead of using <b> for bold, you can use [ b ] with no spaces.

Avatars also have to be less than 20kb in size. If you want, you can just send me the avatar and I can host it in pinoy.md and you can just use remote URL posting for your avatar.

If your friend's account has been created only recently, it will still undergo the verification process. This has to be done in order for us to determine if the account was really created by a filipino doctor-- you will note that there is a question in tagalog that has to be answered in tagalog only. Just one way of weeding out spammers and bots. If the account has been created for more than a month, please PM mikemuin or jennifer as they are the ones who approves new accounts.
