hi wolverine.

i know this recruitment agency and its genuine. just to mention it for those who are planning or having doubts about applying. although this is not the agency which recruited me to work here in KSA, my friend who is also a pediatrician was hired through them. the agency sends doctors to different government hospitals here and the pay ranges from $1300-1600/months (you can bargain!) plus incentives (read my post at Doctor's Lounge - ksa doctors).


tips: during the interview with the arab employer, you can bargain with your salary especially kung ok ang credentials mo (eg.diplomate). yung recruitment agency kasi will give you a figure na mas mababang salary, i dont know why. always ask for the other benefits aside from your basic salary.

: the best hospital to be hired are in government hospitals. ask the agency if private yun, ask the name of the hospital and verify it with me kung goverment nga yun. kunti kasi benefits sa private companies. two years ussually ang contract.
: if u have a chance to choose a place, i mean a province, choose Jeddah, Riyadh, Al Khobar, Dammam, in that order. Maganda daw kasi sa Jeddah, mas open dun, unlike d2 sa Riyadh where i work, pero kung gusto ng metropolitan living e d2 ka sa Riyadh, the capital of KSA.

I just wanted to ask if KSA also hires GP in the hospitals? I seldom see ads from KSA who entertain GPs. Regards to all pinoy doctors in KSA

hi stethcap! Yes, they do. I have friends who went there as GPs.

I see a lot of openings/practice opportunity in Medhunters.com (too many to post). Some don't require US training. Places like Middle East, Saipan, or China.

yes, xinrob is right, they also hire GPs here pero very seldom do u see ads in the papers. if u really like to work in the middle east, go around malate-mabini area and look for the agencies that offer jobs for MDs. minsan kasi they dont advertise. good luck!

d2 sa hospital namin, walang pang opening for anes, ill try to ask sa ibang hospitals d2 kung may need for anesthetists. why dont you ask arab peninsula agency (see above address). good luck!

Add info ko lang po.... Sa BEST ONE Agency sa may Remedios,P. Gil Area ay nag-papaalis din ng mga docs for KSA. Kakaalis lang tropa ko, sa may Vishna? daw sila,lapit sa Riyadh. And according to her, ayos naman daw dahil hi-tech din mga gamit at bilib sa mga pinoys!!!
Walang gastos yon, and about sa pay....abot ng $1,600/month so apply na kayo if u want!!!!
