Study Habits

What's up guys? I'm new to this forum 'cause I used to look only at the "Students and Interns" corner. Im a fourth-year Nursing student in Lucban and a UPCM aspirant. Here's a great topic to discuss with the pack... What are your study habits? I'll start.

Firstly, I'll ventilate my physical weariness of the day usually by being solitary and praying in a peaceful place. Then after I had recharged my batteries, I drink a bottle of Cobra Smart to get my engines started for the long night of reviewing my lessons, albeit there's no exam tomorrow. This strategy of reading my books every night reinforces the information I have learned and creates LTP or long-term potentiation in my memory. In addition, this helps me a lot when the Exams draw near because when my other classmates cram over reading the book, particularly Medical-Surgical Nursing, just the night before exams, I have already read it about three to four times already. And making use of other resources such as answering the Clinical Images in New England Journal of Medicine aids in recalling and integrating my past and present lessons. I read a lot of Medical stuffs like the 2nd edition of Expanded Medicine Blue Book. This helps me refocus my eyes on my target -- to be a great physician someday. How about you? What are your study habits? It would be lovely to hear from everybody in this forum so we can assimilate our study techniques and help out each other especially those who always fail to establish study habits. Thanks!
